What data we collect
The website contact form collects name, email address, optional company, subject and message content. Server logs may include technical data such as IP address and timestamp as part of normal operations.
Contact form
Form data is used only to respond to inquiries and to begin a potential client relationship. We do not add contacts to marketing lists without separate consent.
Analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous usage statistics (such as page views, referrers and countries). Tracking is anonymized and does not use marketing cookies or tracking cookies that would require a cookie banner. No marketing cookies are used. Essential technical cookies or session data may be used to make the site work.

Product apps and Garmin integration
If you use separate Taipale IT applications (for example training-related products) with Garmin or similar integrations, the app may process health and performance data only under the user’s authorization. That processing is separate from the website contact form. Product-specific terms are provided with the product.
Purpose and legal basis
Contact data is processed to reply to messages and handle service requests. The legal basis is legitimate interest and, where applicable, steps prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Retention
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the matter or client relationship, then deleted or anonymized.
Recipients
Data may be processed by technical providers used for hosting and email delivery. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
If a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where applicable.
Your rights

Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Finland: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (https://tietosuoja.fi).
Changes
